Policies and conditions

Note: these policies are published in Spanish and English. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

1. Booking, deposit and cancellation policy

How to book

  • The accommodation and the date range are chosen in the calendar and the inquiry is sent with a name and a contact.
  • The enquiry holds those dates for 6 hours. If the owners do not reply within that period, the dates are released automatically.
  • The owners confirm availability and the price for those dates.
  • The booking remains confirmed once the 50% deposit is received of the total.
  • The balance is paid at check-in.

General terms

  • Minimum stay: 5 nights. On public holidays and festive dates there may be higher minimums, which are advised in the inquiry.
  • Deposit: 50% of the total. Balance: at check-in.
  • Payment methods: Mercado Pago, bank transfer or cash at check-in.
  • Check-in: from 16:00. Check-out: by 9:00. Other times can be arranged with the owners.
  • Does not include sheets or towels; quilts and blankets are provided. Does not include cleaning service.
  • The houses are handed over clean and are returned in the same condition.
  • The number of guests may not exceed the capacity stated for each unit.
  • Pets: not allowed. Ask about particular cases.
  • Parties and events are not allowed. The grounds are for resting: quiet is asked between 00:00 and 8:00.
  • Shared pool with sun deck, no lifeguard. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Parking: one car per house, inside the property.
  • Guests are responsible for damage or missing items during their stay.

Cancellations

  • More than 30 days in advance: full refund of the deposit or a date change at no cost.
  • Between 30 and 15 days in advance: the deposit is kept as credit for another stay within the following 12 months.
  • With less than 15 days notice, or in case of a no-show: the deposit is not refunded.
  • Date changes are subject to availability and the price may vary depending on the season.
  • The deposit is not refunded for rain or bad weather.
  • If, for a reason not attributable to the guest, the owners cannot provide the stay, the full deposit is refunded and alternative dates are offered.

2. Privacy policy

The personal data requested (name, phone or email, stay dates, number of people and the message the guest wishes to add) are used only to answer the inquiry, manage the booking and communicate with the guest. They are processed in accordance with Law 25.326 on Personal Data Protection of the Argentine Republic.

  • They are not sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.
  • They are stored on the server hired by the owners (Hostinger) and in their booking database. The hosting provider and the email provider have technical access to the service, not commercial access to the data.
  • The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. There is only an internal session cookie for the owners' administration panel.
  • Data of minors must be provided by a responsible adult.
  • The data subject may request access to, rectification of or deletion of their data by writing to casastheblack@gmail.com or via WhatsApp at 11 5493 3830.
  • The supervisory authority for personal data is the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP).

3. Terms and conditions of use of the site

  • This site is informative and allows you to send availability inquiries. The availability and the price of each period are confirmed with the owners.
  • The photographs are illustrative of the units and the property.
  • Prices are expressed in Argentine pesos and may vary depending on the season.
  • Automated use of the site (robots, mass content extraction), the sending of false inquiries and the use of contact data for unsolicited messages are not permitted.
  • The texts, photographs, logo and design belong to Casas The Black and cannot be reproduced without authorization.
  • The site may include links to third-party pages (for example, review platforms or maps), for whose content we are not responsible.
  • These terms may be updated; the version in force is the one published on this page.
  • They are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic and any dispute is submitted to the ordinary courts of Villa Gesell, Province of Buenos Aires.
